The details

Baby wearing has long been practiced in cultures around the world, and research proves that "worn" babies are happier and learn more quickly than their counterparts. Wearing your baby in the Mei Tai baby carrier, especially in the first several months after birth, will help baby gently transition to the world outside the womb. And wearing baby after the first several months will only make your life easier.
The Milestone Mei Tai is fashioned after an ancient Asian pattern. The basic concept is a fabric rectangle (called the body) with a strap coming from each corner. Each carrier is handmade by me, Lindsey, a stay-at-home mom. This carrier offers so much! You can carry your little one on the front, side or back. And it grows with your child, able to carry them from birth up to 35 pounds! One of my favorite things about the Milestone is that you can breastfeed hands free with it on!
The body measures 15 x 21 inches. The bottom straps are 4 x 30 inches and the top straps are 4 x 75 inches. All four straps are slightly cushioned for comfort and to keep them from bunching up in awkward places. The top of the body is cushioned to provide a little bit of a pillow for your little ones if they fall asleep. Also each carrier has a pocket on the front of the body measuring 6 x 6 inches.
When you purchase a Milestone Mei Tai baby carrier, you will receive a mesh laundry bag that will make washing your carrier easier. You can also use this mesh bag to transport your Milestone mei tai. I include an instructional pamphlet with pictures and explanations of how to use the carrier as well.

  1. Lindsey, these look so cool! And comfortable--the carrier we are borrowing from my sis-in-law is really starting to be uncomfortable now that Justus is getting bigger. How much do the mei tais run?
